We are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a

Laboratory Team Leader 100% (m/f)

In this versatile leadership role, you will take charge of our development laboratory, including the chemical laboratory (semi-finished products ET and analytics) and the physical laboratory (testing and trial facilities).

Job Description

• Professional and personnel management of employees in the development laboratory
• Planning and coordination of personnel and technical laboratory resources

(Employee and laboratory planning, shopfloor meetings, employee training)

• Organisation, supervision, and continuous development of laboratory processes
• Responsibility for a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory operation
• Ensuring maintenance and availability of equipment, systems, and testing tools
• Responsibility for materials management as well as cost centre and budget planning of the laboratory
• Analysis and electrochemical and physical characterisation of materials such as electrode materials and electrolytes
• Development of new test methods, introduction and execution of chemical, physical, and electrochemical tests
• Support for the further development of innovative battery systems
• Support for supervisors and specialist departments with technical queries
• Preparation of production documentation according to project manager specifications

Profile

• Completed training as a chemical or physical laboratory technician with further education in the technical field, e.g. HF technician, Bachelor or Master in Chemistry FH or equivalent

Professional Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in laboratory and development environments
• Several years of leadership experience and enthusiasm for developing and promoting employees and apprentices
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, hands-on mentality
• German spoken and written, any additional language is an advantage
