The Cargo & Large Orders department (goods dispatch) plays a central role in our logistics – here, the daily shipping of piece goods shipments with a total volume of around 15 fully loaded lorries is organised and processed. Due to the internal advancement of the current post holder, we are looking for you as Deputy Teamlead to strengthen our team and ensure smooth operations.Deputy Teamlead Cargo & Large Orders
What to expect
- Management of daily operations: You are 50% responsible for organising, monitoring and ensuring an efficient flow of goods during your shift
- Operational involvement: The remaining time you actively participate yourself and lead by example for your team
- Leadership & teamwork: Together with another Deputy Teamlead, you support the Teamlead in the professional and disciplinary management of 16 employees
- Coordination & alignment: You work closely together, coordinate tasks and responsibilities and ensure seamless handover in daily operations
- Interface management: You maintain contact with internal and external partners, including transport service providers and the sales team, to ensure smooth processing
- Administration & analysis: You create statistics on daily output, quality and personnel planning and use these to specifically optimise processes
What you bring with you
- Ideally completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ combined with further training (federal logistics certificate) and initial leadership experience
- Strong communication skills and empathy to motivate employees and convince with a collegial leadership style
- Structured and solution-oriented thinking to efficiently manage processes and respond flexibly to challenges
- Organisational skills and planning reliability to keep daily volume in view and deploy personnel resource-consciously
- Initiative and an eye for improvements to continuously develop processes
- Good MS Office skills as well as an impeccable reputation
- Willingness to work shifts between 06:00 and 22:00 (possible seasonal deployments between 05:00 - 23:00) as well as corresponding mobility
