TCP/IP, Routing & Security Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 140,000Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.

Role:
When communication networks must function reliably even under demanding conditions, well-thought-out architecture, clean implementation and deep technical know-how are crucial. You will work on complex network environments and accompany projects from technical conception to operational support.
Responsibilities:
You design communication networks and implement them for demanding technical environments.
You further develop existing network concepts, paying attention to security, stability and sustainable operational capability.
You configure network components, commission them and carry out technical tests in project and operational environments.
You support customers with technical queries and undertake targeted service and support assignments.
You contribute your network know-how in pre-sales activities and support project managers with architecture questions, solution concepts and offers.
You analyse complex fault patterns and resolve demanding network and security issues at 3rd-level support.
You document technical solutions, thereby ensuring a comprehensible basis for operation and further development.
Qualifications:
You have a technical education at HF, BSc, MSc or MAS level in engineering or a comparable qualification.
You bring solid practical experience with TCP/IP and routing.
You are familiar with technologies and solution approaches in the field of communication security.
You have already worked with network products from Cisco, Juniper or Check Point.
Ideally, you have further training in the field of IP communication, for example Cisco certifications.
You have experience with microwave radio links or are motivated to acquire expertise in this area.
You communicate very well in German and have good English skills at B2 level.
You are curious, eager to learn and enjoy working on new technical topics.
