Tasks
Initial Orientation: As a social worker at the Migration Centre, you support refugees who find accommodation in the cantonal initial reception and ensure the provision of material assistance in accordance with legal requirements.
Advice, Networking and Integration: In direct contact, you advise the supported persons on housing, health, education and other topics. You initiate the integration process, network the refugees with external agencies and support them in independently managing their daily lives, taking into account personal needs and respective resources.
Taking Responsibility: You make individual decisions within case management, work interdisciplinarily with internal and external specialist agencies closely and network with public and private institutions.
Profile
Experience: You have experience in counselling - preferably in the asylum and refugee sector. You enjoy working within the legal context and securing existence according to legal claims.
Personality: As a well-grounded personality with emotional stability, you bring empathy for people from other cultures as well as the ability to set boundaries. You are resilient, flexible and a team player.
Education: You have a qualification in Social Work HF/FH.
