The SVA BL is the competence centre for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law enterprise, it fulfils a legal mandate and contributes to social security for the population and the economy of the canton.

For the Family Allowances team of the Federal Tasks department, we are looking for a motivated and experienced person to start immediately or by arrangement as

Clerk Family Compensation Fund (80 - 100 %)

What you will achieve

• You check and process applications for family allowances

• You determine entitlements and record the corresponding decisions

• You handle objections within the scope of duties

• Independent responsibility for managing your own portfolio

• You maintain written and telephone customer contact

What you bring

• Qualified training in the commercial field and professional experience in social insurance or willingness to proactively acquire new knowledge

• Personal responsibility and team orientation

• Independent and precise working

• Self-organisation in daily business and good management of your own pending tasks

• Professional and friendly behaviour, even in hectic situations 

• Confident German language skills

• Proficient use of MS Office programmes; knowledge of AKIS is an advantage
