About the job
To strengthen our technical department, we are looking for a specialist in the field of urban planning and construction. You will be involved in processing technical and administrative documents related to construction projects, implementing legal provisions on spatial planning, and supporting municipal projects.
Your main tasks
- Processing building applications and monitoring the associated administrative procedures (public display, hearings, approvals, and decisions).
- Ensuring the administrative management of urban planning files and spatial planning projects, paying attention to compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, companies, owners, cantonal authorities, and other partners to ensure the smooth progress of procedures.
- Participating in site inspections and meetings, where necessary for project supervision and conformity checks.
- Processing applications for certificates of conformity and other permits within the remit of the technical service.
- Assisting in monitoring the local development plan (PAL) and its revisions.
- Managing technical data and using specialised applications, particularly FRIAC, ArcGIS, and internal applications.
Your profile
- Education in construction or urban planning (architect, HF technician, construction site architect, construction draughtsperson EFZ, or an equivalent recognised qualification).
- Experience in a municipal technical service, an architectural office, or an engineering firm is an advantage.
- Strong interest in administrative processes related to urban planning, building law, and spatial planning.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications; experience with FRIAC, ArcGIS, or similar applications is an advantage.
- Excellent command of French or German and good knowledge of the other language (at least level B2) to ensure professional communication both orally and in writing.
- Organisational skills, accuracy, and independence.
- Confident handling of the public and various partners.
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
