Senior IT Project Manager, Zurich-Oerlikon Location

Tasks

• You are responsible for the IT-side management and control of projects of medium to high complexity across all project phases (initialisation, specification, implementation and introduction) including budget responsibility.
• You ensure that IT deliverables are met in terms of time, quality and costs and guarantee a smooth operational handover including training, documentation and rollout.
• You initiate and coordinate the collection of requirements as well as the development of business specifications in close cooperation with the specialist departments and support evaluations and procurement processes.
• You ensure that all projects comply with the requirements in the areas of information security, data protection and municipal IT standards and coordinate the implementation of appropriate measures.
• You take on the leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams as well as external partners, promote collaboration between IT and specialist departments and ensure methodically sound project implementation according to common standards.

Profile

• Several years of experience in managing IT projects as well as the ability to take responsibility at a senior level and to use your skills and knowledge specifically for the further development of the IT department.
• High degree of personal responsibility and ability to make sustainable decisions, as well as assertiveness and a pronounced ability to deal constructively with different interests and changes.
• University degree/Bachelor of Science FH/Uni/ETH in Business Informatics or equivalent education with a focus on computer science.
• Solid experience in applying project management methods (classical and agile) as well as knowledge in the areas of information security and data protection.
• Independent, responsible working style, proactive thinking as well as a constructive approach to dynamic and changing situations.

The central Services department is located at the Zurich-Oerlikon site and provides various services within the entire service department.
