Business and Process Analyst (m/f)
at senior and professional level.
Your tasks:
- Analysis and documentation of business, process and system requirements including scope definition and prioritisation
- Structured collection, consolidation and prioritisation of professional requirements across all sub-areas
- Creation of use cases, user stories and business concepts including acceptance criteria
- Analysis of current processes, definition of target processes, conducting gap analyses and deriving improvement measures
- Modelling of business and operational processes (e.g. BPMN)
- Translation of professional requirements into clear, actionable specifications (functional specifications, user stories, requirements)
- Support in solution definition and active implementation support
- Moderation of workshops and coordination with departments, operations, IT and suppliers
- Interface and coordination work between departments, IT and external partners
- Support in testing and acceptance (test cases, UAT support) as well as maintenance of requirements traceability
Your profile:
Senior level
- Proven qualifications (education and training)
- At least 6 years of professional experience as a business or process analyst in complex system and transformation projects
- Very good methodological knowledge in requirements engineering and process modelling (e.g. BPMN)
- Experience in mission-critical environments (critical infrastructures, 24/7 operation) as well as coordination between business, operations and ICT
- Strong system and integration understanding (interfaces, data objects, data flows)
- Proven ability as an "integrator" between business and IT
- High workshop and moderation skills with heterogeneous stakeholders
- Experience with non-functional requirements (NFRs), acceptance criteria and traceability
- Very good analytical, structuring and documentation skills with confident creation of professional and technical specifications
- Practical experience in test/UAT support and implementation preparation
Professional level
- Proven qualifications (education and training)
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a business or process analyst in complex system and transformation projects
- Good methodological knowledge in requirements engineering and process modelling (e.g. BPMN)
- Good system and integration understanding (interfaces, data objects, data flows)
- Initial experience as an "integrator" between business and IT
- Experience with non-functional requirements (NFRs), acceptance criteria and traceability
- Good analytical, structuring and documentation skills with confident creation of professional and technical specifications
Applicable to both levels:
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1)
- High structure, result and responsibility orientation
- Willingness for regular on-site collaboration with clients (mainly Zurich area and surroundings)
- Teamwork, communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
