About the job
The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a MSAT Bioconjugates Single Use Technologies expert. Lonza has a strong track record in the manufacturing of BioConjugates from early clinical to large scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant facility (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) as well as other classes of BioConjugates. We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and as part of Lonza’s Ibex® Dedicate model, new BioConjugation suites are being built out within a pre-existing shell.

What you'll do:
- Subject matter expert for single use technologies (Downstream).
- Main point of contact for all technical, quality and regulatory based challenges.
- Support the Lonza project teams for the selection and the implementation of single use equipment in our GMP facilities (Bioconjugates IBEX and Potent conjugation plant (PCP)).
- Coordinate single use related activities with the MSAT, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and quality assurance teams.
- Responsible for the standardization of the single use equipment.
- Representative for the communication with key single use suppliers.
- Be part of the Lonza global single use network.
- Responsible for vendor change notifications.
- Responsible for single use related change control management.
What we're looking for:
- Master or PhD in Biotechnology preferred in chemical engineering or related disciplines with significant related industry experience.
- Experience in the single use area and cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing supporting downstream functions
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with project teams and suppliers.
- Fluent in English required, German fluency is a strong asset.
- Creative, agile, open-minded.
