Your Role & Main Tasks

• Safety Inspections: You conduct regular inspections on construction sites and in our workshop to identify potential risks and safety concerns.
• Risk Assessment: You identify, assess, and prioritise specific risks related to construction activities and develop plans to mitigate them.
• Consultation: You provide advice on all matters concerning health and safety.
• Implementation of SUVA and VSL Group Safety Standards: You ensure that all safety policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to on construction sites.
• Health and Safety Management System: You assist in the preparation, updating, and implementation of the health and safety management system or the corresponding project plan.
• Training: You train employees to apply safe working practices and correctly use safety equipment.
• Reports: You prepare monthly health and safety reports.

Your Profile

Education & Experience:

• You have at least five years of experience in occupational safety and health protection in the construction sector.
• You hold a diploma in safety and health protection as well as recognition as a safety specialist by SUVA (ASGS).
• You work independently and plan your own programme and the necessary measures.
• You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Languages:

• You speak German or French as your mother tongue and have good English skills. Knowledge of the other national language is an advantage.

Personality:

• You can communicate effectively with employees at all levels of a project or department.
• You are flexible, mature, self-motivated, and ready to take on challenges.
