Job description
This is a 2-year apprenticeship contract that will allow you to acquire the following skills:
Customer advice and service:
- Respond to the wishes and needs of residents in accordance with the company culture;
- Communicate respectfully and appreciatively;
- Set tables and buffets appropriately for the situation;
- Perform resident-oriented service tasks.
Cleaning and arranging premises and equipment:
- Keep premises clean and preserve the value of materials;
- Carry out regular cleaning tasks efficiently;
- Comply with hygiene standards;
- Inspect premises and equipment.
Laundry circuit tasks:
- Prepare the establishment's and residents' laundry for washing;
- Perform the actions defined in the laundry circuit;
- Restore textiles to good condition.
Meal preparation and distribution:
- Explain the rules of a healthy diet;
- Prepare dishes according to internal methods;
- Use meal distribution system machines and utensils correctly;
- Carry out tasks related to the dishwashing process.
Administrative tasks:
- Contribute to quality system assurance;
- Perform administrative tasks;
- Use communication and information tools confidently.
In general:
You will be assigned to several floors, giving you a broad view of the activities carried out within a care home.
Profile sought
Expected skills:
- Completed compulsory schooling;
- Good oral and written expression in French.
Specific skills characterising the position:
- Teamwork, empathy, proficiency with computer tools.
