Work where others spend their winter holidays. For the winter season 2026/27, we are looking for an assistant cook for our The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher.

As a leading company in Alpine tourism, we develop the experience space in the Jungfrau Region and actively shape it. The The Wall Bar on the Eigergletscher is a meeting point for winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world and offers a unique working environment right at the foot of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. For the winter season from 14 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, we are looking for a motivated person who likes to get stuck in, keeps an overview even in busy moments, and creates unforgettable guest experiences together with the team.

Assistant Cook

Your tasks:

• Preparation & Support: You support the kitchen team with daily preparatory work and ensure the mise en place.
• Simple meal preparation: You prepare cold and hot dishes according to specifications and present them attractively.
• Assistance in daily business: You support the team during service times and ensure a smooth process.
• Quality & hygiene standards: You consistently adhere to hygiene and HACCP guidelines.
• Inventory management: You assist with goods receipt, storage, and proper processing of foodstuffs.
• Cleaning & order: You ensure cleanliness and order in the kitchen and back office area.

You bring with you:

• Experience in the kitchen or gastronomy, ideally in a seasonal or high-traffic operation.
• Enjoyment of practical work and handling food.
• Resilience and flexibility, even during high guest volumes.
• Independent and reliable working style as well as a quick grasp.
• Team spirit and helpfulness with a positive attitude.
• Good German skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
