You are familiar with the world of datacentres and IT infrastructures and want to apply your technical know-how closer to the customer? In this role, you combine technology, consulting and sales and develop suitable solutions for our customers' requirements together with them. You work closely with our specialised sales, key account management as well as manufacturers and technology partners. What to expect
- Analyse technical customer requirements and translate them into suitable and economically sensible solutions together with sales
- Develop technical concepts and solution designs around datacentre and IT infrastructures
- Support specialised sales and key account managers with technical questions and customer projects
- Accompany technical customer meetings, workshops, webinars and presentations and convey complex topics understandably
- Contribute to the creation and development of technical offers
- Coordinate technical clarifications with manufacturers and technology partners
- Evaluate new technologies and assess their application possibilities for our customers and our portfolio
- Recognise trends and innovations in the datacentre and infrastructure environment early and share your knowledge with the relevant teams
- Continuously expand your technical know-how through further training and certifications
What you bring with you
- Practical professional experience in the ICT, datacentre or infrastructure environment
- Technical understanding and enjoyment in translating customer requirements into concrete solutions
- Experience in technical customer consulting, presales or a comparable interface function is an advantage
- Experience as a system engineer or in a comparable technical role is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturers, technologies and solutions in the datacentre environment as well as experience in distribution business are advantageous
- Confident and professional appearance in communication with customers, manufacturers and internal contacts
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills for communication in the professional environment
- Technical basic training or comparable qualification; further training and manufacturer certifications are advantageous
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and the motivation to continuously develop your expertise
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business up to 10%.
