The IT, Projects and Processes section (IPP) is the cross-sectional unit for IT, information security, data protection as well as for projects and processes within the office. Our three-person team acts as a link between the specialist departments and the higher-level authorities of the Directorate and the Canton.
For the newly created position as Data Manager, you will build up the future data management of the Office for Landscape and Nature from scratch.

Your tasks
- Implementation of cantonal data governance and ensuring legally compliant data management in the OLN
- Subject matter responsibility for cantonal-wide applications used in the data area (e.g. data platform and Power Platform)
- Modelling of data sets and developing evaluations as well as dashboards
- Support and advice to our departments in the area of data management
- Leadership or sub-project leadership in the area of data and its application
- Preparation of decision-making bases for the office management
Your profile
- University degree (FH/Uni/ETH) in business informatics, data science, computer science or a related discipline
- Solid experience in data management
- Good knowledge of modern data and low-code tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Platform) – from data modelling through dashboards to low-code applications and scripting
- Networked thinking, confident structuring of information and the ability to develop conceptually viable solutions from it
- Independent working style, persuasiveness in consulting and the ability to involve people across departmental boundaries
