About the job
Do you want to take responsibility when our logistics are running at full speed? In the night shift of intralogistics, you ensure as Deputy Team Leader with your team that the picking areas in our logistics centre are reliably supplied. You control processes, actively pitch in and make a difference every evening together with your team.
Important notes: Night shift: Sun: 22:00 - 05:30 / Mon - Thu: 20:30 - 06:00
What you achieve
- Operational control: You lead your team at night and ensure smooth logistics operations - from the cooled temperature zones Fresh and Cold to the demand-oriented support of other logistics areas.
- Leadership & development: You accompany employees in their daily work, promote their professional and personal development, and relieve the team leader of selected leadership tasks.
- Compliance with standards: You ensure that quality, safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, Migros-QM) are consistently adhered to and lead by example.
- Communication & collaboration: You ensure the flow of information and bring topics from the team to the responsible departments as needed.
- Process optimisation: You identify improvement potentials, contribute your ideas and support the further development of our processes and workflows.
What you bring
- Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
- Field: Logistics
- Professional experience: 3+ years logistics / leadership
- Experience in logistics: Several years of professional experience including qualification in logistics or production environment.
- Leadership skills: You have initial experience in the professional leadership of teams and know how to motivate and develop employees.
- Organisational skills: You work in a structured way, keep an overview even under high workload and set the right priorities.
- Working hours: You are willing to work permanently in our night shift (Sun: 22:00 - 05:30 / Mon - Thu: 20:30 - 06:00).
- Communication skills: You communicate clearly, enjoy cross-departmental work and ensure a trusting collaboration.
- IT skills: You work confidently with MS Office and ideally have experience with warehouse management or ERP systems.
