Head of Insurance Benefits (m/f/d)
Member of the Executive Board, 80-100%

Your tasks

• You lead a department with 18 employees and are responsible for its organisation and further development.
• Together with your team, you ensure the correct, customer-oriented and economical provision of insurance benefits.
• You are responsible for case management and benefit provision and ensure the proper formation of reserves.
• You develop benefit processes, specialist concepts, standards and work tools further and ensure their uniform application.
• You recognise risks and developments early, improve quality and processes in a targeted manner and bring specialist requirements into projects.
• As a member of the Executive Board, you bring in the perspective of the core business and help shape the further development of the UVZ.

Your profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, ideally insurance, law, business administration or healthcare
• Several years of leadership experience in the benefits area of a social insurance, preferably in accident insurance
• Sound knowledge of UVG benefit law and case management in personal insurance
• Experience in the further development of benefit processes and working methods
• Analytical thinking, clear communication and the ability to provide orientation even in demanding situations
• High resilience in the tension field of day-to-day business, change and leadership with an appreciative, binding attitude in a public environment
• Further training in insurance, leadership, process management or business administration is an advantage
