Medical secretary for the Strike Pool, paediatrics and paediatric surgery
To complete our strike pool at the children’s hospital, we are looking for a medical secretary from 1 September 2026, with a workload between 80 and 100%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) consists of 5 services: neonatology, paediatrics, paediatric surgery, adolescent medicine and gynaecology and obstetrics.
Within the Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME), the paediatrics and paediatric surgery services offer comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. They maintain close links with the other services of the department.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You ensure efficient management of hospitalisation organisation and the Pool
- You provide administrative support to the unit and hospital doctors in the context of their clinical activity
- You actively contribute to the quality, development and improvement of the unit’s services.
Profile
- You hold a medical secretary qualification and/or a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent recognised title
- You have an excellent command of the French language and spelling
- You demonstrate rigour and have a sense of organisation and priorities
- You see yourself as a flexible, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual support
- You can demonstrate good mastery of common IT tools (MS Office) and, ideally, CHUV’s IT tools.
