PROJECT MANAGER STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CIVIL ENGINEERING 80-100% - ZURICH

YOUR TASKS:

• Project management of diverse and demanding new build and conversion projects from planning to commissioning
• Design of structural concepts and technical construction solutions for new builds and renovations in collaboration with clients, architects or specialists from other AFRY departments
• Handling geotechnical issues with planning and realisation of excavation pits, foundation engineering and ground stabilisation
• Project leadership while adhering to cost, quality and schedule targets
• Leadership and technical support of the project team
• Supporting team and department heads in acquiring new projects
• Supporting the department head in maintaining existing and building new client relationships

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed degree as a graduate engineer or master in civil engineering (ETH/FH/TU)
• Very good oral and written communication skills in German
• In-depth knowledge in the field of statics/construction of concrete, steel and timber structures, in geotechnics and foundation engineering as well as in the application of corresponding FEM calculation software (SOFiSTiK, AxisVM, CUBUS)
• Several years of planning experience as a project engineer or project manager in structural engineering across all planning and realisation phases
• Flair for designing and implementing efficient and economical structures and using modern design tools
• Motivated to plan and realise projects digitally, e.g. using the BIM method and 3D coordination tools
• Communicative, solution- and customer-oriented as well as entrepreneurial personality
