Profile

The urology department of the Lugano Regional Hospital represents a rapidly expanding service with an ambitious growth plan at the cantonal and national level.

Essential requirements:

• degree/diploma in medicine and specialisation in urology with corresponding registration with MedReg before starting work. For doctors with foreign qualifications: recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and corresponding registration with MedReg before starting work is mandatory
• proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with corresponding registration with MedReg before starting work, knowledge of English is desirable
• work experience in urology departments, with particular focus on robotic and minimally invasive surgery
• documented clinical research activity with international training experience
• autonomy in managing urological patients
• strong availability and inclination for teamwork
• constructive and proactive attitude
• proficiency in IT tools.
