What you will do with us

With us, you will commit yourself to children and adolescents who need support or protection in difficult life situations. In this role, you take on a central leadership position and ensure the lawful implementation of child protection on behalf of the KESB. In close collaboration with your team, you contribute to the further development of the service centre and create good conditions to optimally support the professional guardians in their work.

• Do you enjoy working in a responsible managerial role and leading a social service professionally, personally, and organisationally?
• Do you advocate for high service and quality orientation and ensure efficient task completion?
• Do you enjoy working closely with your team and gladly take on responsibility?
• Do you appreciate working in a committed, interdisciplinary, and bilingual environment?
• Are you proficient in both official languages and wish to apply your skills in a lively, bilingual setting?

What you ideally bring with you

• Completed training as a social worker or social pedagogue with advanced leadership training or equivalent further education
• Several years of professional and leadership experience
• Good knowledge of child protection law as well as social insurance and administrative areas

About us

The Department of Adult and Child Protection (EKS) conducts investigations concerning minors and adults on behalf of the KESB who require administrative and/or social support. The guardians are also responsible for enforcing the measures ordered by the KESB.
