How do we combine service and efficiency in everyday life? We ensure that insurance benefits from the cantonal unemployment fund are paid correctly and on time. We are there when it matters: We verify claims, calculate unemployment insurance benefits, and pay them out. Reliably, competently, and with genuine understanding for the people behind the files.
To strengthen the specialist team Art. 29 AVIG, which is located in the legal service, we are looking for a committed professional immediately or by arrangement. The workplace is at the headquarters of the Unemployment Fund Canton Zurich in Winterthur.
Your tasks:
- Verification and calculation of unemployment compensation in case of doubts about claims from employment contracts (Art. 29 AVIG)
- Assertion of civil law claims against bankruptcy offices and other involved authorities
- Correspondence with insured persons, employers, bankruptcy offices, legal representatives, and other authorities
- Advice and support for internal and external stakeholders on technical and procedural legal issues
- Close cooperation with internal lawyers in the legal assessment and handling of complex cases
- Ensuring legally compliant, efficient, and customer-oriented case processing in compliance with legal requirements
- Knowledge management: building, maintaining, and making specialist knowledge available
- Contributing to the further development of benefit processes
Your profile:
- Completed 3-year commercial basic training or an equivalent commercial education
- Many years of professional experience in AVIG enforcement
- Completed further training as a social insurance specialist or willingness to complete this promptly
- Process-oriented, efficient, decisive, and a pronounced flair for numbers
- Excellent communication skills, good presentation skills, and didactic experience
- Strong team spirit
- Confident and networked thinking as well as pronounced perseverance in handling complex case constellations
- Curious about legal issues and open to new things
