Machines or automation systems. Together with other specialists, they take care not only of the production of automated systems but also of their commissioning, repair, as well as project planning, programming, and documentation.

Automation technicians work in a variety of fields such as the development and construction of power distribution systems or in the production and commissioning of robots and various systems like filling systems or sorting systems. Depending on the activity, their workplace is either the production hall or the planning office.

• Assembly, processing, and wiring of control cabinets as well as integration into the systems
• Electrical installation on the systems
• Testing and commissioning of the systems
• Repair and maintenance of systems
• Mechanical and pneumatic work
• PLC programming

• Secondary school level A or good level B
• Technical understanding
• Interest in electrical engineering and automation
