Junior System Engineer (m/f/d)

About the job

To strengthen our team in Dübendorf, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled individual to support, further develop, and provide technical support for our systems.

As a Junior System Engineer, you can expect a varied role with a broad technical spectrum. You will work closely with our specialist departments and gradually develop into a specialist for our solutions.

Your main tasks

• Supporting our competence centre with technical questions regarding Linux, Windows, and other operating systems
• Operating, monitoring, and further developing our Microsoft Azure environment
• Supporting the maintenance and further development of our internal IT infrastructure
• Analysing and resolving technical problems in the interaction of software, hardware, and operating systems
• Participating in the specification, evaluation, and introduction of new products and technologies
• Conducting tests as well as accompanying release and acceptance processes
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and instructions
• Supporting and training our technical teams
• Contributing to the automation and optimisation of recurring tasks

Your profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, business IT specialist EFZ, electronics technician EFZ, or comparable technical training
• Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows; experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Technical understanding of hardware and software as well as ideally first contact with embedded systems
• Knowledge of Bash or another scripting language is an advantage
• Enthusiasm for IT, technology, and solving challenging technical problems, as well as interest in new technologies and the willingness to independently familiarise yourself with new topics
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
