The city police, with over 250 employees, is committed to a safe and trustworthy Winterthur. To complement our Traffic Police Team 2, we are looking for a motivated police officer starting 01.01.2026 or by agreement.Your Tasks
- Independently conducting speed controls using various measurement techniques
- Independently evaluating photo and video material as well as final reporting in connection with special findings based on red light and speed recordings
- Carrying out assignments according to the instructions of the superior (reporting, vehicle inspections, legal assistance requests)
- Maintenance and care of assigned measuring and evaluation devices
- Performing core police duties
Your Profile
- Completed police training (federal diploma/certificate), re-entrants welcome
- IT user knowledge of police-specific applications
- Independent and reliable working style, proactive and motivated personality
- Strong team and communication skills, resilient, flexible, and articulate
- Willingness to perform special assignments
