Role:

Cloud platforms only realise their value when infrastructure, identities, and endpoints integrate seamlessly. This is exactly where you work as a Cloud Operations Engineer Microsoft Azure. Your focus is on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365), and you elevate existing environments with code and clear standards to a new level. Instead of just operating, you build solutions that scale and last. You have a lot of creative freedom and work closely with other specialists.

Responsibilities:

• You migrate local server landscapes to the Microsoft Cloud and accompany these projects from the initial concept to the productive environment.

• Reusable Bicep templates and automated processes with PowerShell are part of your daily routine and ensure consistent deployments.

• You design access models with RBAC, Conditional Access, and App Registrations, thereby strengthening security and governance in the cloud.

• Furthermore, you drive endpoint management with Intune, from device configurations to compliance policies.

• You independently plan virtual networks, routing, and hybrid connections and involve network experts early on in firewall matters.

• Additionally, you resolve complex error patterns across multiple systems and use automation and AI to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, or both form your foundation, ideally including completed cloud migrations.

• You work proficiently with Infrastructure as Code and automate recurring tasks without detours.

• You have practical knowledge of identity and access management in Entra ID, as well as concepts around MFA and enterprise applications.

• You also have a good understanding of cloud networks, from NSGs and subnets to VPN. Experience with Fortinet is a plus.

• You maintain an overview even in complex contexts, share your knowledge openly, and actively seek better solutions.

• Additionally, you are able to express yourself precisely in German and use technical documentation in English effortlessly. A Microsoft certification rounds off your profile.
