About the job
In the Construction department, we shape the further development of our stores in Switzerland. Together with site development, expansion, planning team, regional management and other interfaces, we ensure that renovations and new openings are reliably planned, controlled and implemented.
In this role, you take responsibility for retail projects from planning through approval procedures to acceptance. This creates an environment where quality, deadlines and feasible store design come together, and where you can make a significant impact with your experience in Swiss retail and interior construction.
What awaits you with us. Your tasks.
- You are fully responsible for managing renovations and new openings in retail and store construction in Switzerland, including schedule, risk and measures management.
- You create and develop interior architectural planning documents, such as floor plans, sections, details as well as fit-out and design concepts.
- You are responsible for building applications and submissions: from compiling and reviewing documents to communication with authorities and obtaining approvals.
- You coordinate specialist partners such as structural engineers, fire protection planners and specialist engineers and integrate their evidence into the overall package.
- You manage general contractors in retail construction and ensure quality, deadlines and clean implementation.
- You conduct inspections, preliminary acceptances and final acceptances, document results and consistently follow up on defects until fully resolved.
- You accompany the handover and return of rental spaces including protocols, deadline management and coordination with landlords or centre management.
- You ensure transparent status reports, complete project documentation and clear handovers to all relevant stakeholders.

- You have a degree in architecture or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of proven experience in construction management or project management in retail or interior construction in Switzerland.
- You work very confidently with ArchiCAD – from planning creation to submission and execution level.
- You are familiar with building submissions and approval procedures in Switzerland, including communication with authorities, management of conditions and documentation of evidence.
- You can develop, evaluate and translate interior architectural planning documents and design concepts into feasible execution.
- You bring strong implementation skills in quality assurance, schedule control, acceptances, defect tracking and documentation.
- You communicate confidently in German or Swiss German, French and English.
- You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner – even in an environment with multiple projects, many interfaces and regular travel.
