An experienced individual is sought to support and optimise a versatile IT infrastructure, familiar with Linux systems, network technologies and automation. The focus is on reliable system operation, further development of virtualisation and efficient design of recurring IT processes.
Responsibilities:
Support and expansion of network and system infrastructures in a DevOps environment
Development and maintenance of automated workflows with Ansible, Puppet and other suitable tools
Participation in the further development of a virtualisation platform with Apache CloudStack
Analysis and resolution of technical faults and performance issues
Monitoring of the infrastructure and continuous improvement of operational processes
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree or comparable training with several years of professional experience in infrastructure or DevOps environment
Good knowledge of Linux, networks and IT security, for example with Debian, Ubuntu, Juniper or Fortinet
Practical experience with tools such as Zabbix, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or Jenkins
Experience with virtualisation solutions such as VMware, Proxmox or Apache CloudStack; interest in container technologies
Independent and responsible working style as well as strong analytical thinking
Communication and team skills as well as good German and English skills
