About the job
The Intercommunal School Association of Genolier and Surroundings (A.I.S.G.E.) brings together five municipalities in the region and works in the fields of day care and education.
With nearly 180 employees committed to serving children and public communities, A.I.S.G.E. is actively seeking:
SCHOOL PATROLLERS
MISSION
- Ensure the safety of pupils at the times of class entry and exit, at designated locations near school buildings or, exceptionally, in areas further from school centres;
- Protect schoolchildren from traffic hazards by facilitating their crossing of the road and, as far as possible, monitoring their behaviour in road traffic;
- Contribute to their road safety education by encouraging them to apply traffic rules;
- In case of an accident, apply first aid rules and seek necessary assistance, while ensuring the safety and maintenance of the patrol.
PROFILE SOUGHT
We are looking for flexible and available individuals residing in one of the municipalities listed below. This person must enjoy contact with children, have pedagogical skills, and be able to manage stress.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATIONS
The work takes place during the Vaud school terms, at the times of pupils’ class entry and exit, according to the schedule defined at the start of the school year (30 minutes per patrol), in the municipalities of Trélex, Givrins, Genolier, Arzier-Le Muids, and/or St-Cergue (hours to be agreed according to schedule).
REMUNERATION
The work is paid at the same hourly rate as Péditrain escorts, namely CHF 28.61 per hour + holiday pay.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Permanent contract (CDI), to be filled immediately or as agreed. For foreign nationals, presentation of a valid residence permit in Switzerland authorising gainful employment is an essential condition for employment. A copy must be provided when submitting your application.
