The S & RS-Werkstatt AG in Illnau-Effretikon specialises in high-performance and technically demanding vehicles of the brands Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, SEAT and Škoda. Our area of activity includes complex repairs, engine and transmission overhauls, individual performance solutions as well as the care of exclusive customer vehicles.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an exceptionally committed, technically skilled and sales-strong personality for our customer service.

Your task

As an automobile service advisor, you are the central interface between our customers and the workshop. You accompany the orders from the first contact to the vehicle handover and ensure that our customers are competently, honestly and reliably cared for at all times.

You understand not only vehicles but also people: you listen carefully, recognise needs, explain technical contexts understandably and find solutions that convince both technically and economically.

Your tasks include in particular:

• personal, telephone and written support of our customers
• professional vehicle acceptance and joint order clarification
• technical preliminary clarifications as well as preparation of cost estimates and offers
• complete and precise preparation of workshop orders
• coordination of appointments, spare parts, external services and internal resources
• ongoing monitoring of orders regarding deadlines, costs and scope
• early and transparent information of customers in case of deviations or additional work
• active advice on necessary and sensible repairs, maintenance work and optimisations
• coordination with workshop coordination, mechanics, suppliers and partner companies
• control of the work performed and preparation of invoicing
• professional vehicle handover with understandable explanation of the work carried out
• handling of enquiries and complaints with calmness, reliability and solution orientation
• maintenance of customer and vehicle data as well as consistent documentation of all agreements
• active participation in the further development of our processes and service standards

Who we are looking for

We are not looking for a pure receptionist, but a personality who takes responsibility and leads our customer service at a high level.

You work proactively, keep an overview even with several demanding orders and do not let important information slip. Your statements are binding, your documentation is complete and your communication creates trust.

Ideally, you have:

• a completed technical basic training in the Swiss automotive industry, preferably as an automobile mechatronics technician EFZ or automobile specialist EFZ
• several years of experience in customer service, as an automobile service advisor or in a comparable function
• profound technical understanding and interest in high-performance vehicles
• experience with vehicles and systems of the brands Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, SEAT or Škoda
• pronounced organisational and commercial skills
• an independent, structured and very reliable way of working
• joy in demanding customer advice and active sales
• a sure sense of priorities, deadlines and economic contexts
• the ability to explain technical matters understandably and convincingly
• a professional, friendly and confident appearance
• very good German skills in spoken and written form
• English skills; other national languages are an advantage
• a category B driving licence
• an impeccable reputation

Further training as an Automobile Service Advisor with Federal Certificate of Competence is ideal for this position. Further training as an Automobile Diagnostician or a comparable qualification in the automotive industry is also an advantage but not mandatory. Your experience, personality and performance record are decisive.
