Pictet Asset Services (PAS) provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.
Your role
• Managing and leading an assigned client book to develop new business and services that are aligned with the defined market strategy for all products.
• Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders in structuring third party funds from a legal, administrative and operational standpoint.
• Becoming the prime person of contact for any events relating to the social life of a fund.
• Developing strong business partnerships with our clients and discussing strategic initiatives and product ideas with our clients’ senior management representatives.
• Ensuring knowledge transfer to our clients for whom we act as consultants.
• Ensuring that you have up-to-date knowledge of Pictet products, services and practices.
• Being responsible for retaining relationships and increasing their profitability.
• Acquiring a sound understanding and practice of the Group’s risk approach and culture.
• Coordinating client-specific initiatives and preparing multi-stakeholder meetings, presentations and RFPs.
• Developing commercial strategies to promote the Group’s full range of services with a view to providing a broad array of products, services, investment mandates and the capture of trading flows.
• Initiating the onboarding of any new services or assets, negotiating the contractual aspects of the deals and serving as the interface with Compliance and Regulatory teams to ensure reputational integrity.
• Following client dashboards and metrics, delivering assigned financial objectives and monitoring the profitability of the book.
• Serving as an escalation point for any critical service issues and ensuring prompt resolution.
Your profile
• University degree in Finance and Business Administration, or relevant experience.
• Ten years’ experience in relationship management or business development in the financial services industry, including 5 years in funds servicing or asset management.
• Excellent understanding of custodian bank services and fund administration from a regulatory and operational point of view.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience with ability to have high-stake conversations with C level client counterparts
• Keen and comfortable in developing business, through networking, events, and industry exposure
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven expertise in building partnerships at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Objective-driven solution provider, keen on growing revenue and share of wallet.
• Strong influencing and coordinating skills, coupled with the ability to rally multiple business partners towards a common goal.
• Systematic, structured and capable of building realistic business plans.
• French-speaking and with fluent English; any other major European language would be an asset.
• The chosen candidate must be resident in Switzerland
