For our Acquisition & Estimation department, we are looking for you as our new Head of Estimation Central Switzerland (m/f/d) 80-100%. Your future place of employment will be in Gisikon.

What you will achieve

• With us, you don’t just estimate projects, you help shape which infrastructure Implenia builds in Central Switzerland
• Responsibility for the entire estimation and tender process of demanding civil engineering and infrastructure projects, from tender analysis to bid submission
• Development of economical execution variants, project optimisations and bidding strategies with a clear view of opportunities, risks and market requirements
• Preparation of reliable calculations and decision-making bases for acquisition, department management, project teams and contract negotiations
• Leadership, promotion and further development of the estimation team with clarity, trust and entrepreneurial ambition
• Close collaboration with execution, technical, procurement, work preparation, BIM/Lean and other specialist departments within Implenia
• Competent representation of estimation towards clients, planners, partners and internal decision-making bodies
• Further development of estimation processes to be more digital, transparent, efficient and closer to the later execution

Why you will succeed

• Several years of experience in estimation, bid processing or project management in civil engineering, structural engineering or infrastructure construction
• Sound understanding of construction processes, construction methods, resources, subcontractor services as well as technical and commercial project risks
• Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to translate technical solutions into economically viable, market-appropriate offers
• Good knowledge of the Swiss construction and contract landscape, ideally with SIA standards, NPK structures, contract law as well as public and private tenders
• Structured, analytical and forward-looking working style, even with complex tenders, tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders
• Clear communication, confident appearance and negotiation skills towards clients, planners, partners and internal specialist departments
• Leadership strength with commitment, fairness and the ambition to promote quality, personal responsibility and teamwork
• Confident use of MS Office and openness to modern estimation, BIM and digital planning tools
