About us
We are Umsatz GmbH, a UX/UI design agency based in Zurich. We conceive and design digital products for renowned companies and international brands. Our focus is on user-centred, intuitive, and compelling digital experiences.
We work on demanding projects, especially in the automotive, e-commerce, and digital product platform sectors.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer who understands complex digital products, develops user-centred solutions, and takes responsibility in challenging projects.
Your tasks
- UX conception: You develop intuitive user experiences for complex e-commerce platforms and digital product configurators.
- User flows & customer journeys: You analyse and optimise user processes along the entire customer journey, from product search through configuration to checkout.
- Product configurators: You design complex configuration processes with numerous product variants, dependencies, and individual selection options.
- Wireframing & prototyping: You create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed UX concepts in Figma.
- UX research & testing: You plan and conduct usability tests, analyse user feedback, and derive concrete optimisation measures.
- Conversion optimisation: You identify potentials to improve usability and conversion rates.
- Stakeholder management: You present your concepts convincingly and work closely with product owners, developers, UI designers, and other stakeholders.
- Design systems: You work with existing design systems and develop consistent UX patterns for complex applications.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of professional experience in UX design, ideally with a focus on e-commerce or complex digital products.
- Solid experience in designing product configurators, e-commerce platforms, or similarly complex applications.
- Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Excellent understanding of information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and user-centred design processes.
- Very good skills in Figma, especially in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Experience with usability testing and data-driven UX optimisation.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into simple and understandable user experiences.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with various stakeholders.
- Very good English skills. German skills are an advantage.
What we offer
- Exciting projects: Work on digital products for internationally renowned brands, especially in the automotive and e-commerce sectors.
- Small internal team, large network: You are part of a small, well-coordinated design team and at the same time work closely with a large, international IT team of designers, developers, product owners, and other specialists.
- International working environment: You work with colleagues from various countries and have the opportunity to occasionally participate in workshops, meetings, or project assignments abroad.
- Creative freedom: Take responsibility and actively contribute your own ideas and concepts.
- Flexible working: Combination of remote work and on-site collaboration.
- Direct communication: Short decision-making paths, flat hierarchies, and a collegial working environment.
- Long-term perspective: The opportunity to actively shape our agency and our client projects.
