Role:
As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you take technical responsibility for a grown, hybrid IT landscape. Servers, storage, network and clients run reliably because you have operations under control and continuously develop the architecture. Besides day-to-day business, you shape infrastructure and digitalisation projects. Someone who confidently solves complex faults and justifies technical decisions with sound reasoning is sought.
Responsibilities:
You operate and administer the entire IT infrastructure and continuously develop it further.
You manage and optimise Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure as well as hybrid environments.
Furthermore, you ensure availability, performance and security of the systems.
You plan infrastructure projects and implement them together with specialist departments and external service providers.
You further develop backup, disaster recovery and security concepts and document the environment thoroughly.
In addition, you analyse and resolve complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support.
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in computer science.
Several years of experience as a system engineer distinguish you, ideally from an internal IT department.
You know Microsoft technologies in detail, especially Windows Server and Active Directory.
You are confident in working with virtualisation, such as VMware or Citrix, and are familiar with network topics.
Experience in implementing infrastructure projects is an advantage; additional Microsoft certifications are welcome.
You also convince through a structured, independent working style, service orientation as well as fluent German and solid English.
