The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. We want to align our actions more closely with the needs of our clients and advance digitalisation.
What you can achieve with us
- You take responsibility for advising and supporting the integration of clients with health limitations – from registration to the conclusion of the integration process.
- You analyse the initial situation, plan appropriate measures and coordinate collaboration with specialists and institutions. In doing so, you work closely with employers, coaches, social services, educational institutions and insurance companies.
- You support clients in a solution-oriented manner in developing new professional perspectives and use your scope for action purposefully.
- You actively contribute to inter-institutional collaboration and help shape sustainable solutions.
- In addition, as a training coach, you accompany new employees during their induction according to the training concept and support them in achieving their training goals. You conduct regular case discussions, support them in the theory-practice transfer and provide timely constructive feedback.
- You plan and conduct practice-oriented training sessions and convey specialist knowledge appropriately for different target groups in various learning environments.
- You regularly exchange information with the responsible team leaders about the training status of new employees, prepare progress meetings and participate in them if necessary.
- You actively contribute to the further development of our training and education offerings as well as to inter-institutional collaboration.
Which skills are important to us
- You have a tertiary education degree in social work, psychology or a related field (e.g. HR, coaching, case management).
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the integration field and ideally already a qualification in adult education.
- You make decisions within the framework of legal possibilities and use your decision-making scope in the interest of our clients.
- You have sound professional expertise, strong communication skills and very good planning and coordination abilities.
- You present yourself empathetically, clearly and convincingly, can advise and coach in a solution-oriented manner and have a high service orientation.
- You communicate clearly, appropriately for the audience and can convey complex content understandably.
- You complete administrative tasks efficiently and in a structured manner, appreciate both independent work and team exchange.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so good knowledge of the other language is an advantage.
