Automation System Engineer

We specialise in the automation of production plants and offer related solutions for Industrial IT. The family business based in Liestal today employs over 70 staff. Dedicated and competent system and IT engineers form the foundation of our success.
In over 30 years, we have realised more than 8,000 exciting projects for our clients from the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, beverage, mechanical engineering, energy & environment, as well as transport & logistics sectors.
Your tasks
Planning and creating functional specifications for control systems as well as autonomous controls in the industrial environment in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and biotech
Creating concepts for control and regulation, batch applications with MES connection, visualisation as well as data management and system evaluation
Developing software for PLC, SCADA or DCS (S7-TIA, Zenon, PCS7, DeltaV, Beckhoff or similar)
Analysing and optimising the control of production processes
Commissioning of plants
Conducting and reviewing programme tests according to QS guidelines and commissioning
GMP-compliant documentation of the work performed and summarising any discrepancies encountered
Your profile
Completed studies at a university of applied sciences, technical college or university (e.g. ETH) in the field of systems engineering (automation) or an equivalent qualification.
Confident handling of MS Office and IT systems
Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
Precise, independent and structured way of working, as well as a solution-oriented mindset
Coordination skills, resilience and ability to work in a team
High personal responsibility
Competent and professional appearance
