"Our hydraulic engineering team designs and builds habitats on, in, and by the water – from rivers and lakes to complex revitalisation projects in harmony with nature and ecology. With our modular floating platforms made of pontoons and push boats, we move up to 250 tonnes and implement demanding construction projects directly on the water. If you want to take responsibility and are looking for a varied, technically exciting role where no day is like the other, then you are exactly right with us."

Your tasks

• Operating and steering our push boat and other work vessels
• Handling pontoons and hydraulic engineering equipment
• Implementing construction measures such as bank protection, shoring, excavation work, bed lowering, and renaturation
• Surveying work with GPS and total station
• Supporting material separation and material management in the sense of circular economy
• Coordinating the work of construction machinery and lorries as well as operating small construction machines
• Responsibility for the professional execution of subprojects and small construction sites

Your profile

• Shipmaster’s certificate / Shipmaster’s licence Cat. C or equivalent (Upper Rhine patent / large Rhine patent) with practical experience
• Experience in hydraulic engineering or civil engineering is an advantage but not mandatory. We welcome motivated shipmasters who are open to a career change into hydraulic engineering
• Reliability, commitment, and a high sense of responsibility and safety awareness
• Flexible for assignments throughout Switzerland
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Driving licence Cat. B mandatory
