Responsibilities:
You manage capacities and priorities within purchasing.
Supporting and evaluating strategic suppliers is part of your responsibilities.
You identify and open up new sources of supply for relevant product groups.
In case of supply shortages, you initiate appropriate measures to ensure supply security.
You analyse cost developments and monitor the agreed purchasing targets.
You regularly conduct supplier visits, audits and performance evaluations.
You define and control purchasing key figures based on company objectives.
You are responsible for budgeting and cost centre planning of purchasing.
Qualifications:
You have a technical apprenticeship, for example as a polymechanic, automation technician or designer.
You have further training in purchasing, supply chain or business administration.
You bring several years of experience in a leading purchasing role in an industrial environment.
You have sound practical knowledge in supplier management.
Experience with alternative sources of supply and dual sourcing is an advantage.
You work confidently with production and technical departments.
Negotiation skills, assertiveness and a sense of responsibility characterise your working style.
You are fluent in German for negotiations, have a good level of English; additional national languages are welcome.
