Social Worker: Assessment Unit (70 - 80 %)
The Assessment Unit supports people in challenging life situations. It clarifies individual support needs and accompanies vulnerable adults, families, children and young people. The experienced team is committed to sustainable solutions and reliable support.
Your impact with us
- Assessing risk situations and writing case analyses for the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB)
- Conducting conversations with affected persons and their relatives as well as initiating and carrying out appropriate interventions – mostly directly in their living environment
- Obtaining relevant information from professionals, institutions and authorities
- Advising and supporting people seeking help within the framework of personal assistance and close cooperation with various internal departments as well as external specialist offices and institutions
- Clarifying subsidiary and supplementary support services and coordinating the corresponding deployments
- Planning and implementing situation-appropriate crisis interventions
How you inspire us
- University of applied sciences/preferred degree in Social Work, Law, Psychology or similar
- Further training in child and adult protection, for example a CAS or a specialist course in the field of assessments is an advantage
- Ideally, initial professional experience in a comparable role
- Sound expertise and enjoyment in actively contributing this to the professional development and quality assurance of the unit
- Enjoyment in contact with people as well as high resilience, sense of responsibility and strong communication skills
- Committed, eager to learn and solution-oriented personality with an interest in continuous professional development
