What to expect

• Responsible for the installation and operation of the log, monitoring, and reporting platform Splunk
• Training new employees in the capabilities and use of Splunk
• Co-responsibility for the installation and operation of the monitoring platform Dynatrace
• Performance monitoring and analysis of Java applications (J2EE and native Java)
• Ensuring the availability and performance of the managed platforms as well as compliance
• Continuous optimisation of infrastructure and service monitoring on both on-premises and cloud infrastructures
• Creating, maintaining, and managing documentation (operation manual, etc.)
• Participation in IT projects

• Solid IT education (HF, FH) or many years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Linux, Dynatrace, Splunk, Python, JavaScript, as well as log formats such as Log4J or Syslog is an advantage
• Experience in version maintenance and control using GIT

• Initiative and independent personality with a joy for teamwork

• Fluent German and technical English, both spoken and written
