Ärztekasse Genossenschaft provides business process outsourcing and eHealth solutions to health professionals so they get relief from administration and can focus on medical work. In the context of an innovation initiative, Ärztekasse is renewing and extending their products. To support this digitalization step, we are looking for a skilled Data Manager to take our data (warehouse) infrastructure to the next level. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in optimizing our data architecture and driving actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and decision-making processes.
Data Manager (m/f)
Pensum: 80-100%
Start: immediately or by appointment

Location: Urdorf
Main Tasks
- Ensuring data quality, consistency and availability in the data warehouse
- Defining and maintaining data governance rules (e.g. access rights, naming conventions, data origin)
- Documentation of data flows and metadata (e.g. in Confluence or data catalogues)
- Coordination between specialist departments, IT and data engineering
- Prioritization of data requirements (change requests, reporting needs)
- Support the DWH architecture planning and roadmap
Requirements
- University degree (e.g. Bachelor's or Master's) in computer science, business informatics, data science, statistics or a related field
- Good knowledge of databases (e.g. SQL, Postgres, Sybase, MSSQL), data warehouse architecture and BI systems
- Experience with ETL/data integration, data modelling, data quality management, metadata management
- Understanding of reporting and analysis platforms (e.g. Power BI) and/or governance/topics (data access, security, roles)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of project or change management, good communication and coordination skills between IT and specialist departments
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with healthcare data and familiarity with medical billing is considered a plus.
- English and German are required, French is a plus
