ICT Support Engineer - Cloud & IT Automation (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Support and further development of the IT infrastructure for research groups and scientific workplaces
Installation, maintenance, and support of Windows, macOS, and Linux systems including laboratory and device PCs
Ensuring reliable data backups as well as analysing and resolving technical faults
Optimising IT support processes through automation and close collaboration with central IT teams
Support for scientific IT projects focusing on cloud infrastructures and AI-supported workflows
Qualifications:
IT training EFZ or comparable qualification; university of applied sciences degree advantageous
Good knowledge in administration and troubleshooting of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
Experience in 1st and 2nd level support as well as interest in system engineering and IT automation
Technical curiosity and willingness to familiarise oneself with scientific applications and research requirements
Communicative, team-oriented personality with very good English skills (C1); German skills advantageous
