Your area of responsibility

• Development and implementation of local purchasing strategies in line with global category strategies in close coordination with Group Procurement
• Strategic management and further development of the supplier network to ensure cost optimisation, quality and delivery capability
• Responsibility for complex contract and price negotiations as well as the sustainable implementation of cost-down and optimisation programmes
• Identification and realisation of cost potentials including support for make-or-buy decisions
• Further development of data-driven management of strategic purchasing including risk management and ensuring compliance
• Strategic responsibility for sourcing decisions in development projects to secure target costs, technological competitiveness and series maturity as well as disciplinary and operational leadership of the team

Your profile

• Completed technical or commercial basic training with further education at FH/HF level or equivalent (Purchasing Manager with federal certificate, SCM)
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing and supplier management in an industrial environment
• Very good analytical skills and pronounced negotiation competence
• Knowledge of compliance, risk and sustainability management
• Experience in a professional or disciplinary leadership role
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and matrix organisations
• Very good German and good English skills
