For the individual support of members in the Service Level 1 / Competence Centre - Professional Contributions (SL1 / KPZ-BB) team of the Aargau-Northwest Switzerland region, based in Basel, we are looking for a
Clerk: Member Support 60-80% (Basel)
Your responsibilities
- Member administration (entries, exits, changes, explaining Unia services, etc.)
- Calculating and paying professional contributions from members
- Providing simple labour, social insurance and contract law information at the counter, as well as conducting promotional talks and recruiting new members for Unia
- Outbound: member retention and satisfaction surveys & telephone acquisition of new members via outbound calls
- Maintaining contacts and documenting outbound calls & follow-ups in the CRM system
- Active participation in political trade union activities
- Occasional assignments in the field for member acquisition
Your profile
- Successfully completed commercial training (EFZ) or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in customer consulting and outbound desirable
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as in at least one of these foreign languages: French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese
- Friendly and competent manner
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of telephone contact
- Knowledge of individual and collective labour law as well as immigration law is an advantage
- Experience in debt collection is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Interest in the Swiss social security system as well as Swiss trade union policy
- Independence, initiative, good self-management and willingness to perform
- You are resilient, flexible, a team player and maintain a solution-oriented working style
- You have an interest in trade union and social policy matters
