Senior Cybersecurity & Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Secure networks do not arise by chance but through clear concepts and precise craftsmanship. This is exactly where you come in. As a Senior Cybersecurity & Network Engineer, you design a modern infrastructure and consistently protect it against current threats. You work confidently with Fortinet firewalls and Cisco network components as well as with zero-trust approaches. Your experience is in demand, and your recommendations carry weight.
Responsibilities:
In the event of security incidents, you analyse logs and initiate effective countermeasures
You plan, operate, and continuously develop the LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure
Furthermore, you configure Fortinet firewalls, VPN access, and segmentation concepts
You drive projects around zero trust and network access control (NAC)
In addition, you are responsible for the lifecycle, updates, and patches of Cisco switches and routers
You also occasionally take on on-call duties and maintenance windows outside office hours
Qualifications:
A training in computer science at HF or FH level or a comparable path forms your basis
You bring at least 5 years of experience in the network and security environment
You are proficient in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF as well as SD-WAN
Furthermore, you are familiar with SIEM solutions and frameworks such as ISO 27001
You work in a structured manner even under pressure, remain calm, and enjoy sharing knowledge
You also write confidently in German and read English technical literature effortlessly
