As Legal Counsel, you will be the trusted contact person for our business partners in Switzerland and support the General Counsel directly in pioneering projects – from decarbonisation to the digital transformation of the legal department. What to expect:
Comprehensive legal advice: You independently advise and support our Swiss business partners in key areas such as litigation, M&A, competition law, real estate and complex commercial contracts.
Strategic case management: You lead court cases and proceedings including strategy development and manage external lawyers.
Accompany future projects: You support the legal leadership and negotiation management in strategic projects and initiatives, especially in our pioneering industrial decarbonisation major projects.
Optimise legal infrastructure: You draft, review and revise contracts, standard templates and minutes and provide advisory support to all departments on general legal issues.
Legal Tech & Innovation: You actively drive the digitalisation of the legal department of the Central Europe West cluster and further develop digital tools for sustainable process optimisation.
What you bring:
Solid education: You have successfully completed your university law degree and hold the Swiss bar admission (admission as a lawyer in Switzerland).
Relevant experience: You bring at least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the legal field, ideally gained in a commercial law firm or as in-house counsel.
Digital affinity: In addition to confident use of MS Office and Google tools, you have a strong enthusiasm for Legal Tech and the optimisation of digital workflows.
Strong personality: You are characterised by a solution-oriented, pragmatic working style, high flexibility as well as pronounced assertiveness and genuine team spirit.
Language skills: You communicate fluently and confidently in German and English (spoken and written); good French and/or Italian skills are a welcome advantage.
