Role:
A modern workplace does not arise by chance but through a well-thought-out architecture. As a Senior Microsoft Intune Engineer, you shape the technical direction of the entire workplace, client, and mobile platform based on Microsoft 365 (M365). The focus is on modern endpoint management with Intune and consistent automation. Your architectural decisions have a tangible impact, and you set the technical standards.
Responsibilities:
You further develop the endpoint management strategy and define compliance policies, security baselines, and configuration profiles.
With Windows Autopilot, you design zero-touch processes for enrolment, provisioning, and the entire device lifecycle.
You automate software packaging, deployments, and administrative processes using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
Furthermore, you design update and patch strategies for clients and manage their controlled rollout.
In addition, you analyse complex incidents down to the root cause and lead migrations as well as lifecycle projects.
You also evaluate new endpoint and security technologies in proofs of concept and define best practices and operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of solid experience in modern workplace or endpoint engineering.
Deep knowledge of Windows 11/10 and Intune architectures for complex client and mobile environments distinguishes you.
You are proficient in MDM, MAM, device enrolment, and endpoint hardening and have practical experience with Windows Update for Business using update rings.
Very good scripting skills in PowerShell and ideally experience with API-based automations are part of your toolkit.
You confidently administer Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive and understand the dependencies between identity, security, and Microsoft 365.
Moreover, you solve persistent enrolment, policy, and deployment issues analytically and sustainably.
