To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new member at the location in Rüti near Büren:

Operations Employee "Tank Storage/Plant Logistics" 100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Assisting with the maintenance of the tank system and the electronic tank measurement system
• Carrying out the necessary checks before unloading and at the end of work
• Supporting drivers when loading trucks from the tank storage
• Creating mixing orders for the production of sulphuric acid 76%, caustic soda 30%, hydrogen peroxide 35%
• Immediate emptying of the collection buckets at the respective unloading stations
• Handling goods dispatches via rail wagons, including creating the necessary shipping documents and correct labelling of the freight
• Ensuring the flawless operational functionality of the company’s own rail system
• Shunting rail wagons in compliance with applicable rail traffic regulations
• Handling goods receipts via rail wagons and tank trucks – from sampling to storage in the tank systems

You bring with you:

• A licence for operating industrial cranes is mandatory
• Several years of professional experience in plant maintenance or in a chemical-technical environment is desirable
• Good physical condition and no fear of heights – working on rail tank wagons (height) is not a problem
• Shunting training according to VTE 10 and passed medical fitness test according to VTE53; advantageous; if proven professional experience in a similar segment (logistics) exists, a functionally relevant training sequence can be realised on the job.
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Punctual, resilient, flexible and absolutely reliable personality with a cool head in hectic times and good imagination
