Responsibilities:

Do you want to contribute in an innovative R&D environment and take responsibility in the laboratory? Do you work precisely, structured, and enjoy technical and chemical issues? Then you are exactly right with us!

• Production of resin formulations and their application for impregnation and lamination processes
• Planning, preparation, and execution of laboratory experiments as well as production of test specimens
• Execution and evaluation of laboratory tests and analyses
• Documentation and archiving of test results according to internal standards

• Support of development projects in close cooperation with R&D project managers

• Organization and management of the laboratory (chemicals, equipment, consumables)
• Maintenance, calibration, and monitoring of laboratory and workshop equipment
• Support in production trials and quality tests in the production environment
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards (EH&S)

Requirements:

• Completed technical training (e.g., laboratory technician, chemical laboratory technician, plastics technologist, or comparable)
• Initial experience in a laboratory environment or in the production and testing of materials is an advantage
• Knowledge in handling chemical substances and ideally experience with polymer formulations
• Precise, structured, and independent working style
• High teamwork skills and motivation to work on complex topics
• Good organizational skills and technical understanding
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards (EH&S)
• Very good German skills and basic knowledge of English
