In our engineering department, graduates from HF, FHNW and ETH work, and we also train new apprentices annually in the field of design (designer EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, automation technician EFZ). We have already carried out many student projects in cooperation with FHNW and are pleased that some of these students have started permanent employment with us.
Our strength lies in offering PiBS students a practice-relevant introduction to the engineering profession. You will experience an individual and practice-oriented training programme. This way, you complement your studies with know-how from industry and can already demonstrate work experience when starting your professional career. Depending on your personal interests and study focus, your training programme consists of the following focal points:
- Workshop internship
- Smaller independently completed engineering projects in the field of research and development (R&D)
- Participation in larger R&D projects or customer projects, also in cooperation with other specialist departments from our engineering team
