XTRA Security AG supports highly demanding care and treatment settings for people with disabilities or mental illness in psychiatry as well as in social institutions and their environments throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Your Role

• Background security for intensive care settings of people with a high potential for harming others
• Support of professional staff in accompanying and caring for clients with challenging behaviours
• Consistent, well-coordinated and, if necessary, physical intervention in acute crises
• Active participation in the care and accompaniment of everyday sequences, including care situations
• Sitting watches and video surveillance duties during the night

Your Profile

• Stable and confident personality with a cool head in intense confrontations
• Quick comprehension for adequate assessment of difficult situations
• Training in security or social professions or professional experience in one of these areas
• Basic physical fitness
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• PC skills
• Impeccable character (criminal record extract and certificate of capacity to act)
• Willingness to further train in both security and educational fields
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
